(Rockville, Maryland) - TerpSys was named one of 50 "Best Places to Work" by the Washington Business Journal at their annual breakfast awards program at the McLean Hilton in McLean, Virginia. In addition, TerpSys earned the award for the third consecutive year and ranked #8 in the category of "Large Companies with local headquarters".
"Since this award is entirely based on survey results form our staff, it is really tough to make the list, let alone stay on it for three consecutive years," states Ed Woods, company President. "All of our staff are able to participate in the survey and their positive feedback is very motivating, as well as humbling."
"It was an honor to accept the 2008 "Best Places to Work" award on behalf of TerpSys," adds Nicol Newell-Bell, company Board member. "The accolades that we receive continue to surpass any thoughts I had the day Ed told me he was going to create his own company. It continues to be an honor to have worked and served with such great people, which is the entire reason for this and all of the other awards that we have received over the past eight years."
