Not just “Big Oil”: AFPM’s new brand
Public perception of “Big Oil” was poor. The National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA) needed ways to help the public understand how their members make life better for Americans, every day. They came to TerpSys to create a new website for their new brand: the American Fuel and Petrochemicals Manufacturers (AFPM).
TerpSys helped AFPM define their web strategy, and delivered a site that:
- Reinforces the fact that the fuel and petrochemical industry is an American industry.
- Shows how the industry benefits the public’s daily life.
- Increases visibility of meetings and conferences.
- Highlights facts about petrochemicals for policy makers.
The new site gives AFPM more freedom to keep their content working for them, thanks to TerpSys’s technical implementation.
- Built on the Ektron platform, so non-technical users have greater control over content.
- Integration with their AMS system, to control members-only content.
